Your Retreat Guide
Sean Corey
Sean Corey is a yoga and meditation teacher rooted in the Himalayan Tradition. He spent five years as a full-time resident at the Himalayan Institute, where he completed his 200- and 300-hour teacher trainings. He holds an RYT-500 certification and teaches live classes weekly on Insight Timer.
When he is not teaching, you will find Sean swimming in the ocean or exploring the streets of Hoi An, Vietnam, where he lives.

Felicia Rose is a Singer / Songwriter / traveling muse, captivating audiences with her passionate vocals and angelic mystique. Her music ranges from romantic ballads steeped in love for the Divine, to upbeat chants in English and Sanskrit. Felicia’s original songs weave together danceable folk rock & soulful world beat with a tiny splash of gospel.
With her intense vocal range, Felicia has the innate ability to reach into someone’s soul and awaken their inner longing. She has been described as “passionately mystical.”

Yes, you will want to have at least begun a practice of yoga. However, the practices I share, while challenging to each individual, will be accessible to practitioners at every level.
Absolutely! If you have a partner or friend who would like to experience this empowering weekend, please choose the booking option for two people. Sharing this transformational retreat with someone close to you is such a gift.
You can view a sample daily schedule here. The finalized schedule will be shared as we get closer to the retreat. Expect a balance of movement, meditation, deep conversations, and free time to recharge. (Note: every session is 100% optional).
The Himalayan Institute is a dry campus, and the consumption of alcohol, drugs, or other illicit substances is not permitted. The campus is also meat-free, and the consumption of meat is not allowed during the retreat. Designated smoking areas for cigarettes are available outside the main campus. This policy helps maintain the retreat's focus on wellness and mindfulness.
We'll enjoy a guided nature hike to a local waterfall. On Saturday evening, we'll gather for a bonfire and ceremonial life celebration with music and chanting. There's also a beautiful swimming pond, hiking trails, and walking paths available to you.
The retreat takes place on the picturesque 400-acre campus of the Himalayan Institute, nestled in the serene Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. For over fifty years, the Himalayan Institute has been a sanctuary for those seeking inspiration, personal growth, and inner balance.
Our sessions will primarily focus on Hatha Yoga, rooted in the wisdom of the Himalayan Tradition. You'll experience a blend of mindful movement, meditation, and restorative practices to support relaxation and renewal. Additionally, we'll incorporate fitness-style movements aimed at building strength, enhancing vitality, and helping you move beyond physical and mental blocks.
Comfortable clothing, a yoga mat, suitable footwear for walking/hiking, and an open mind! A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration.
